Arcadian House can work to any brief from a residential single room transformation to large commercial projects. At Arcadian House we know that good interior design is all about the client and not the designer. Every project is unique and every client is treated as an individual because to deliver what you need it couldn’t be done any other way. 

Good design isn’t just about aesthetics but function and practicality. Interior design should work for you in addition to reflecting your style. This might apply to a private residence where space planning needs to be addressed to fit family life. It could equally apply to a commercial project, for instance, a bar or restaurant might want to appeal to a new market or simply resolve issues in order to run more efficiently and cost effectively. In the same way that your project will be different to any other, pricing will vary depending on the brief. As a guide, the design service can usually be broken down into three stages so that the client can decide on the level of service to suit them best:

Design scheme only – the client can buy the scheme and choose to implement this themselves. Following an initial meeting with a prospective client to discuss the project we will provide a written quotation for the design fee. The initial meeting will last up to one hour and is free of charge. 

Co-ordination of contractors – Arcadian House can act as go between for the client with contractors or any specialists you require us to involve, i.e. lighting designers or artists. This service is charged at 10% of all labour costs.

Full implementation – Arcadian House will arrange for the supply and installation of all items specified in the design scheme. To supply goods specified in the scheme there is a 10% mark up fee on best trade price and non-trade priced items.

All fees and services are subject to V.A.T.
